Woot woot November! Is it really Nov 1st, wow!!! My publication is GROW HEALTHIER + HAPPIER where I share holistic wellness practices, tools, and resources that support the mind, body, and daily habits. I want to help women own their badassery and I believe it starts with healthy mind and body foundations. For NOVEMBER, I am writing about turning 50 (gulp), getting some of my resources and recipe ebooks compiled and into my healthy resources tab for my readers.

I am mid-forties and they are way better than thirties which are way better than twenties so I imagine fifties are going to be special.

I've been preparing some upcoming posts this morning, some of which really lean into the seasonal vibes, and sharing an appreciation for this time of year, with encouragement for others to do the same.

Sometimes I worry this kind of thing can be a little twee, but it puts me in such a good mood, I can only hope it has the same effect on readers too! 🍂🎁

I have always lived in places where the seasons change subtly (no fall leaves) so I rely on other people's seasonal shares to help shape my seasons in some ways. <3

That's so lovely, and encouraging, to hear - thank you Kathryn! 🥰

i post a special blend of pop culture, music, occasional tech/digital culture, and personal essays centering themes surfacing in my single 40s era.

for Nov i aim to post a couple end of year lists. one will be best albums but i want to do it in a more unique way than just a list which i find boring tbh. the other will be a list of memorable moments (pop culture / trends). i’m not sure what the best way to present that is aside from obviously a list format. visuals scattered thru out? could i use video? 🙏🏼

I love the idea of mixing media types to keep it interesting! Can’t wait to see how these turn out. I always find them fun to see at the end of the year. ⚡️

I may have had this post open in a tab since November 1st😂. I did end up publishing what I was planning for these first few days of November, yay! I write all about Belgian food and baking and share tips for making patisserie-level bakes at home. This post is all about the vlaai, a typically Belgian pie with a bread dough and fruit filling https://sarahfrison.substack.com/p/is-there-such-a-thing-as-a-belgian .

We can all relate the the open-tab-for-days phenomenon. 😆 And this pie sounds amazing. ⚡️

November here is for doing a series of roundup links to past newsletters in an effort to organize them into something that will be easily navigable in a Table of Contents. This also gives readers a chance to see things that they might have missed. This is all for Create Me Free, which is where I write about where art meets psychology.

I also just launched a section of CMF as its own publication, Threadstack, for all the people who love yarn and fiber, so I'm committed to begining to shape material there as well.

I’ve been trying to think through how to best organize past content too so it’s approachable for new readers. I like the table of contents idea. ⚡️
